Our authors have a vision, and so do we. Our one-on-one service ensures that our services and the final product match as closely to the author’s vision as possible. We offer a full range of editing services including structural and copy editing.  We follow the 5 Cs, which is to make the copy clear, correct, concise, comprehensible and consistent.  Queries usually arise for an author if a sentence is unclear or an assertion raises doubt. Through email, telephone, Skype or face-to-face communication we will ensure that the product meets the vision within a reasonable budget and deadline. From government department reports to Corporations Law, our services cover any and all material! We can edit in either hard-copy or digital format and our cutting edge techniques will ensure that you receive the best product possible.

Indexes are the fundamental navigation tool for any literature. The index is intended to help the reader, researcher, or information professional locate information, so as professional indexers, we act as a liaison between the text and its ultimate user. With over 30 years of indexing experience, we offer an exemplary quality of work in a broad range of fields. This includes legal and academic textbooks, scholarly works, looseleaf services, cookbooks, nursing textbooks, children’s encyclopaedias, biographies and a variety of non-fiction and lifestyle titles. We have developed in-house indexing software that is utilised to ensure perfection in the final product. Our range of experience is vast and we are willing to engage in any job! We provide our indexes for both electronic and hard copy specifications. Our hardworking team can create a high quality index in any timeframe and work within your production timeline.  As indexers occupy the last stage of typographic production before publication, we often detect errors which can be transmitted for correction prior to publication, thus providing a free proofread as well!

Desktop Publishing

For more than ten years, we have desktop published education materials over two semesters per year. Proofreading

Attention to detail is our hallmark. Proofreading is not a fancy spell check but a fundamental process in the publishing timeline. Proofreading identifies and corrects errors above and beyond spell checkers in a grammatical, structural, stylistic and aesthetic sense. Through meticulous examination, errors such as form/from among many others are identified and rectified.  Should our client have an in-house style guide, then we comply with established style requirements. In our experience, proofreading also allows our team to identify greater issues that may have been missed under the pressure of publishing.
